In the whole scheme of things it is silly. That is why chocolate is a good solution.
I submitted a (really good) manuscript for publication. After five months of waiting it has been passed on. It looks a little trite when I write it down, but the manuscript represents hundreds of hours of work and study and . . . . well, rejection is just lousy.
