Have you ever received unsolicited food in the mail? Until this week, I hadn't either. Then one day my husband found this granola in our mailbox. The food-loving, fiber-junkie cheapskate in me was delighted. The post-X-files, slightly-paranoid chicken in me wondered whether I should be accepting food from strangers.
Of course, the foodie voice won the argument, but I'm still a little baffled by the idea of getting breakfast from my mailbox.

i got chocolate from albertsons a little bit ago, i guess i better get on the vons mailing list. sheesh!
Hee. . hee. . . it probably has some kind of high tech tracking device inside so that said company will learn all about your eating habits and then send you buy-me mailers accordingly.
Are you implying that I consumed some sort of gastronomical sensor?? That takes "Big Brother is watching" to a whole new level. :/

I never try the food, only because I don't know where it's been. Even packaged, you never know.
