I Hear You, Iowa

Interesting that the Iowa voters seem to feel the same way about presidential candidates that I do. On the Democrat side I like Obama, I can handle Edwards, I can't handle Clinton. On the Republican side Huckabee is my current favorite with Romney in second, but honestly the jury is still out for me.

Of one thing I am certain: Give me any of them except Hillary. Genetic makeup is about the only thing we have in common.

Good posts recently. I commented today on an older one; sorry I haven't checked in for a few days. Traveling and what-not has wiped us out.

In reference to your last comment on my blog; I mostly wanted to really vent about the difficulties surrounding a family wedding. Not a good idea seeing as how groom-boy is now family. Actually, maybe I didn't want to vent, it isn't my life after all. But I wanted to be REALLY snarky. I'll refrain; instead I've soul-searched for all that is virtuous and lovely about our holiday vacation and I'm planning a really nice count-your-many-blessings post for sometime today or tomorrow.

Thanks for being a soft place to land.

My pleasure. :)

Looking forward to reading your "silver lining" post. The longer I live, the more I find that most experiences have good and bad in them, and we see what we choose to look for. I'm trying to look for the good, but for some reason the snarky road is still REALLY tempting sometimes.
