Roses and Godspeed

Today's not-so-favorite moments included . . .

. . . Phillip's dad passing away at the hospital this morning.  He's been in a coma for several days so we knew it was coming, but it's still rough.

Today's favorite moments included . . .

. . . watching someone carry a dozen roses down the hospital hall to brighten somebody's day.

. . . talking with the big kids about their school days - who shared what items, what songs they sang, what the snack was, etc.


. . . Anna gleefully splashing in her bath.

. . . Daniel staying dry all day and going to the bathroom without being reminded.  Yessssss.

. . . my visiting teacher watching my kids so I could go to a book group meeting.  Thanks - I really needed that.  Thanks also to others who have helped this week, and to many more who would if we asked.
