Today's not-so-favorite moments included . . .
. . . dropping a bowl of cooked orzo (tiny pasta) all over the carpet. Tons of fun to clean up, I assure you.
Today's favorite moments included . . .
. . . my mom and sister coming over to visit.
. . . the big kids playing happily together.
. . . snuggling with Phillip on the couch.
And another thing . . .
. . . it was interesting to see how each of my children reacted when Aunt Heather started tickling them furiously. Joy nervously retreated to the other side of the room (which is probably what I would have done), Daniel kept rushing headlong back to Heather for more tickles, and Anna sat watching with cautious fascination a few inches out of Heather’s reach.
