Proud to be a Purple American

Today's favorite moments included . . .

. . . deciding how I'll vote on propositions and such tomorrow.  It was empowering to weigh the arguments and decide what I believe is best for my community.  On the other hand,  it was rather deflating to do lots of soul-searching about the presidential race, finally reach a decision, then recall that my vote on that subject doesn't really matter since I don't live in Ohio.  I really hope we reform the electoral college system soon.

And another thing . . .

. . . to paraphrase an NPR host I heard last week, I hope that no matter what happens tomorrow, America wins.
