Turkey and Leaves

Today's favorite moments included . . .

. . . taking Anna for a walk and hearing the autumn leaves crunch under my feet.

. . . gathering with my family for Thanksgiving and seeing a half dozen dishes they've been serving every year since I was a child.  I love trying new recipes, but there is a certain comfort in sitting down to eat so many traditional, familiar things.

. . . talking and laughing with my family for hours.
