Folded and Out of Stock

Today's not-so-favorite moments included . . .

. . . taking all three kids to Costco, only to discover that they were out of the main thing I went for. They promised they'll have more tomorrow. Sigh.

Today's favorite moments included . . .

. . . seeing Anna smile.

. . . smelling bread baking.

. . . getting all the laundry folded on the same day I washed it.

Wow. Just stunned by your last accomplishment. And this is not mocking or tongue-in-cheek. I wish I had all the laundry folded...or could find my kitchen counters...or could walk through the house without stepping on legos. I understand my reasons for chaos--we started off the new year with four foster kids here for a week, followed by three surgeries, and I'm having a great deal of difficulty catching up.My body's current response to housework is to have contractions, and it's still a month until the baby's due. So I need to live in chaos. But it makes me envious of your clean, folded laundry...

Wow, yourself. You have so much more on your plate than I do. Good luck. I'm praying for you.

Thanks so much. It's not quite as bad as it sounds because the surgeries were relatively minor but boy am I swamped. But I can definitely use the prayers.

I think the other reason I'm impressed is because I can't remember having a couch totally free from laundry since before last August...
