And another thing . . .
. . . this evening the doctor called to say the infection in Daniel's thumb is a staph variety that is resistant to the medicine he's taking. Fortunately there is another medicine that can help. Unfortunately, Phillip was going to be gone with the car until late. Fortunately, the local train goes right past a pharmacy, so the kids and I took a little ride to pick up Daniel's new medicine. Apparently it's extract of vampire, because Daniel is supposed to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight for the next ten days. Sigh.
