Today's favorite moments included . . .
. . . Joy walking right over to me after her nap and giving me a great big hug.
. . . Daniel making his big, inside-joke grin right before he steps onto a chair so I can lift him to the changing table. For some reason, he gets the biggest kick out of that step-onto-the-chair-first routine.
And another thing . . .
. . . Joy was in a pesky mood all morning, then out of the blue at lunch time she reached for the last apple slice, then pulled her hand back and said she wanted to give it to Daniel (which he appreciated). Funny how a person can get into a behavioral rut, then suddenly shift gears.
