Tamales and the Queen

Today's favorite moments included . . .

. . . watching the chipmunks scamper around outside my parents' cabin.

. . . seeing Dad's mountain lilac in bloom.

. . . eating yummy tamales.

. . . watching the opening ceremony of the Olympics with my mom.  I always enjoy watching the athletes parade in, and seeing how the host country has chosen to represent its history and culture.  The part with James Bond and the Queen was fun.

And another thing . . .

. . . the only time I wish we owned a TV is during the Olympics.  I could watch them all day.
