In fact, the very day you wrote this. Happy July 9th! It's also Ed's grandmother's birthday. She is now 92.

We leave for Southern California and a family reunion in a couple of days but I think this time I'll be too busy to see you, which stinks. I'm hoping to get together with Beth and Joellen in Utah on the way back. We'll be sure to say lots of good things about you.

Also--motherhood is proving to be easier with baby number four. No post partum depression this time, or at least, a minimal amount. And such a happy patient baby who is helping me enjoy this parenting thing more than I have in the past.

On the sad side, my mother was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. She's worried that my son Theo has Asperger's syndrome. I'm not convinced of that one but he is a challenge to parent. Hmm--one new child who is easier to help me deal with his challenging older sibling? Nice how Heavenly Father gives us what we can handle.

Happy Birthday, my friend. I hope it was fantabulous.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom, but I'm glad your new little baby is a joy.

Enjoy the reunion, and give my love to Beth and Joellen. :)
