Primary Sub and Skyscrapers

Today's favorite moments included . . .

. . . playing Hangman with the Primary class I substituted for today.  The lesson was good, too.

. . . having dinner with my fam at Papa's house.

. . . Anna giggling every time a jack-in-the-box burst open.

. . . chatting with Grandpa about the personal history he's writing.  He says a lot of other things are giving out on him, but he's glad his brain still works.  I sure hope mine will when I'm his age.

. . . talking with Joy about such diverse topics as what makes storm, what a PhD is, and why few buildings rose more than ten stories before the mid-1800s (no one had invented steel frame construction or elevators, and twenty flights of stairs is a lot to climb; just ask the Ghostbusters).
