Tired and Bitter

Today's not-so-favorite moments included . . .

. . .  feeling really tired all day.

. . . wondering two new recipes I disliked were truly bad, or whether I should blame pregnant hormones for tweaking my appetite.

Today's favorite moments included . . .

. . . Daniel and Joy playing together.  My life might have been simpler if I only had one child, but I'm grateful that Joy has a full-time playmate who joins in her wacky games with gusto.

And another thing . . .

. . . I discovered that we were out of spinach this evening, so I put some romaine lettuce in my green smoothie.  It was bitter city, people.
