Today's not-so-favorite moments included . . .
. . . a very crummy afternoon. Don't ask.
. . . forgetting that a simple recipes is not necessarily a fast one. Dinner was very late again today. The good news is that the kids actually liked the main entree for once.

. . . seeing lots of roses in glorious bloom on our walk to school.
. . . talking with my husband about the aforementioned crummy afternoon. Somehow it made me feel better.
