Today's favorite moments included . . .
. . . getting chores done as a family while we played our favorite tunes. So far our policy has been to have the big kids help parents out with chores, but today it occurred to me that they're old enough to handle some chores on their own. I think that would do them good to have ownership of their own tasks, so I guess it's time to brainstorm.
. . . going to the temple with Phillip while friends watched our kids. I went in weighed down by my challenges, and came out realizing I have so very much to be grateful for.
. . . my husband washing the dishes for me when he could see I was a bit overwhelmed by all the things I needed to do tonight. Thank you, honey. :)
