Joy Meets Indigo and Carnation Pink
I introduced Joy to crayons today. I had fun drawing tigers and happy faces, and Joy did her best to follow my example. She didn’t apply much pressure so she only managed a few faint lines, but at least she grasped the basic principle. Not bad for her first time.
Sooo fun! They have those new chubby animals that are markers, stamps, and crayons. Sofia love's the stamps. Colored pencils work great too, especially at church.
Warning--washable crayons turn into mush when inserted into the mouth of a child. (Not that YOUR child would ever do that, of course. Oh, not ever.) Soy-based crayons, on the other hand, make an acceptable snack. Just ask Morgan!
Daughter of God, wife of Phillip, mother of Joy, Daniel, Anna, and Todd. Lover of good books and good food. I also like gardening, but I'm not very good at it yet.
