Today's not-so-favorite moments included . . .
. . . watching Daniel wind up and pitch a metal paperweight at our front window. Miraculously, the glass didn't break.
Today's favorite moments included . . .
. . . watching Daniel giggle every time he put a cashew on a board book, then lifted the cover and watched the nut slide to the floor. Ah, simple pleasures.
And another thing . . .
. . . Daniel and I are nearly out of the woods (even my back pain subsided to a dull ache by this evening), but Joy is marching steadily into them. She had a fever all day, and spent much of it napping on the couch. I told our snake he had better practice proper hygiene because he's the only only one in the family who hasn't gotten sick yet.
