. . . listening to the big kids talking happily together about Joy's activity book. She even offered to draw Daniel a picture of his lizard. It was right after snack time, and I've noticed that they always seem more friendly and better behaved after they've eaten something. I must remember that.
. . . Anna happily kicking her little feet.
. . . the lovely smell of gingerbread baking.
