Candy Train and Yellow Conference

Today's not-so-favorite moments included . . .

. . . my dear son constantly forgetting to whisper during stake conference. Still, I have to admit it was kind of cute when he got excited about the colors in his book and shouted "Yellow!!" right in the middle of someone's talk.

Today's favorite moments included . . .

. . . chatting a lot after conference today. It is always pleasant to talk with friends, but especially when you spend most of your time home with a baby, interacting with people under the age of five.

. . . playing with our electric train as a family. Phillip put candy in the cargo car and let us choose a piece each time the train stopped in front of us. Once the candy was all gone, he let the kids and me take turns driving the train around the tracks. It was fun to watch Joy experiment with the different switches, and see Daniel captivated by the train as it slowed or accelerated in response to his turns of the dial.

And another thing . . .

. . . after conference today, a mother of seven children said that the transition from two to three kids is the hardest by far.
