A Clear Signal and a Clean Floor

Today's not-so-favorite moments included . . .

. . . getting blisters walking the halls with Anna, who inexplicably refused to doze off at stake conference tonight.

Today's favorite moments included . . .

. . . taking a nap while Phillip watched the kids.

. . . vacuuming. It's nice to finally have a clean floor again.

. . . playing dominoes with Joy. I was falling asleep by the fourth round, though.

. . . listening to a member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy speak tonight (while Phillip took a turn doing laps with Anna). It's always a unique experience listening to a General Authority at a local conference. Even if the other speakers were really good, when an Apostle or Seventy comes to the pulpit there's a different feeling in the room. It's as if things come into focus more, or the static in a radio signal goes away and messages suddenly come through more clearly.
