Today's not-so-favorite moments included . . .
. . . typing on my dad's iPad. Yes, the thing is a marvel of modern technology and it is nice to have Internet access virtually anywhere, but are arrow keys and an undo function too much to ask? Maybe they exist and I'm just a newb.
Today's favorite moments included . . .
. . . hanging out with my parents at their cabin.
. . . reading Mom's Martha Stewart magazine and watching half of The Ten Commandments with her. It is nice to spend time doing things just because I genuinely want to do them. At home I always have so little time and so much to do; here I have lots of free time and little to do. It's a nice change, at least for a weekend.
